Callback/Cast List

Wedding Singer

The Comedy Musical

Directed by Lynn Al, Musical Direction by Myra Nurre,
Assistant Direction by Christie Anderson.

Dear actors, it was a thrill to do these auditions with y’all.  Truly!  Exciting and fun!  The energy you brought was incredible and an honor to watch.

Deciding who get’s what is the hardest/best/most important part of directing, and this has been an adventure.  SO much talent!  :) The hard part is balancing the talent with the availability and ensemble.  I am thrilled to cast each and every one of you – and I am excited to get to work!

So, bring your smiles, your best attitude, and a pencil next Tuesday, May 15th at 7:00pm to get scripts and do a read through!!

Also, for those in the chorus – Myra and I will be assigning the rest of the parts at that time – there are a LOT more parts for y’all.  You will be busy and have a blast.  I have listed here my favorite part or 2 of the ones I have planned for you!  The rest you will get Tuesday and next week.

Please reply to the post on Facebook or email me at lynn@venturetheatre.org to verify that you accept your part.

A Message from the Production Manager:
Greetings everyone! I am so very proud of each and every one of you!  This cast list is phenomenal. Absolutely phenomenal! Scripts are available to be picked up ASAP. Please do not wait until the first rehearsal. By the first rehearsal, please look over the script and have it hole punched and fit into a binder. My personal goal is to have everyone off book by June. Again that is just my goal and it is not the official off book date. The quicker we can do our homework for this show, the easier it will be for Lynn and Myra to play with us and get the show put together. Train yourself to look at your lines for at least an hour each day at the very least besides rehearsal time. Again, I am so very proud to work with all of you. The theatre is open till 10 tonight. I will be there passing out your scripts so come on down and get them! :D
